SUMMER CAMP 2012

Venue:     Crawfordsburn Forest Park, Helens Bay, Northern Ireland, BT19 1JT

Date:       24^{th -} 27^th August 2012.

Cost:       £150

The Summer Camp will be running from 3:00pm Friday 24th August untill 3:00pm Monday 27th August.
The price includes all organised activities accommodation and main meals.
Accomodation will be in a shared rooms for 4.
Meals will be communial with everyone sharing the resposibility of preparation, cooking and cleaning, teams will be allocated in order to make it run smoothly.

The Summer Camp agenda will include but not be restricted to:

• All aspects of Taekwon-Do: The basic principles: why & how Taekwon-Do movements and theory of power works.
• Pattern movements: explanation and practical application for the pattern movements.
• Step Sparring: the priciples, understanding and the importance of the step sparring system.
• Vital spots and Strike points: Identifying and using them to immobilise or disorientate.
• Close Combat techniques: How to deal with up close situations (using vital spots).
• Releasing from Grabs etc.
• Conditioning & Stretching.
• Promotion Exam at the end of camp by arrangement with all protocols in place (Instructor & NGB Approval).
• Relax time - free time - play time.
• Taekwon-Do got talent? Talented members showing what they can do

Nearest airport is George Best City Airport. Transport from airport can be organised with prior arrangement.

Places are linited to a maximum 40 and a minimum of 30, therefore to secure a place a deposit of £50 is required, and the balance of £100 to be paid by 1st August.
